Axiologik is collaborating with Love Leeds Parks!

As proud headline sponsors of the decision-maker-only networking lunch, part of the Yorkshire Sustainability Week, we wanted to give all of Yorkshire's biggest movers and shakers across the green scene an environmentally friendly gift which would benefit the city for many years.

Planting trees is one of the most effective ways to combat climate change and protect the environment from taking CO2 out of the atmosphere. So for each guest attending the SBL, Axiologik, will be planting a tree in honour in the home of their HQ, Leeds and to deliver this we have partnered with Love Leeds Parks, a local charity, working with the city council to combat climate change.

Love Leeds Parks is a registered charity and part of a growing network of UK park foundations. They support improvements to public parks and green spaces in Leeds to benefit residents and visitors to the city. Their vision is for everyone in Leeds to have a green space that they love on their doorstep by providing funding and support for communities to improve and use their local public green spaces, focusing on areas most in need.

Leeds aims to plant 5.8 million trees in the next 25 years to help achieve its goal of becoming a carbon-neutral city. With our recent commitment to become net zero by 2032, our team felt it was fitting that the gift to their guests left an ever-lasting impact, contributing to a healthier forest ecosystem.

“As an organisation, we are committed to managing the impact on our environment responsibly and ethically. We are working on a longer-term roadmap towards our goals engaging our employees and partners on that journey. Our work has a far reaching impact on society and so must our commitment to social value. We currently support many initiatives to give back into our community, including sponsoring the inaugural Yorkshire Sustainability Week and volunteering at Fareshare. This partnership will not only positively impact the environment but we also hope to inspire other local organisations on their sustainability journey.”  commented, Head of Marketing Rachel McElroy
