Sam’s first job was during university working on an IT Helpdesk and her passion for IT Service Management grew from there.
Sam has also worked in Project and Programme Delivery and held leadership roles in NHS Trusts, regional organisations and now works at a national level.
She is responsible for ensuring that our critical national IT services are reliable and available for the NHS and citizens to use.
Sam is a self-confessed health-IT addict, as she firmly believes that technology and digital services can improve how care is delivered and transform how the NHS serves us.
Sam is on the Board of WILD (Women in Leeds Digital) and is an advocate for bringing diverse talent into the thriving technology sector in Leeds.
